Hi,
Guys I am presently in the middle east and they want to adapt to the NEC as their refrence. The electrical system here is 380/220 Volts. My question are there AFCI circuit single pole breakers with 220 Volts rating? PLEASE HELP.:?

I doubt that they are made as the NEC does not require them.

210.12 Arc-Fault Circuit-Interrupter Protection.
(A) Dwelling Units. All 120-volt, single phase, 15- and
20-ampere branch circuits supplying outlets installed in .....

I think the reason its mentioned 120 Volts bc all of US house outlets are 120 Volts single pole. This doesn't mean if the voltage is 220 Volts line to neutral that it's OK to have the circuit on normal CB right?

Very likely.

Actually it does mean exactly that regardless of it being intentional or not.

But regardless the manufacturers would not make the breaker you want because there would be no demand for it.

Also the fact you would be dealing with 220 to ground would change the perimeters of the breaker.

What I am getting at is by raising the voltage you have raised the energy for a given current and I would imagine the settings in the breaker would have to be different to compensate which would mean a lot of testing and expense for a small market of breakers.
