Hello everyone just confused on the branch circuit afci. I'm wiring a new room addition and artical 210.12 (C) says I have to run branch circuit to outlet first, now why can,t I run to switch box first then down stream to recepticale. The switch box would be end of the run if I went to the last recepticale first. Light/ fan would also be on same circuit.
Afci to first outlet???
