Went to do a final today and the electrician had the power on by generator. I went to the AFCI breaker and pushed the test button and nothing. I checked a receptacle in the bedroom. OK. I switched off the generator and went to the temp. It tripped. Why? It was a combo AFCI.
 
Well I thought about that. But shouldn't it trip anyway because of the series arc that it should test since it is a combo.
