.......Do they make a dead front AFCI similar to the GFCI's I use on Jacuzzi tubs............

None to my knowledge. I've had to take a small panel and install it next to the main so I could install AFCI breakers.

But it wouldn't surprise me someday that some manufacturer will have them. I've heard rumors that P&S actually made some AFCI receptacles years ago then AFCIs were going to be required on just bedroom receps, then the code got changed from receps to outlets. Obviously, they would not be the combination type required today, but it would be fun to get hold of one.

The technology exists, but there hasn't been an economic need to make them.... at least until now.;)
 
Regrets on the yoke mounted AFCI. Even though 210.12(B) Exc. No. 1 describes the requirements for installing a yoke mounted AFCI, none have been released to the public, yet.

I agree with 480 that a small subpanel is the "economic" solution.
