I was on the NEMA code alerts and I read something regarding AFCI's here in Maine.
The Board voted unanimously (7-0) to reject a proposed amendment to Section 210.12(B), which would have reverted back to the 2002 NEC requirement for Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupters.
Anyone know what this means? Are they required here? Or are they required as per 2008 NEC and there was a proposal to go back to 2002 regarding AFCI protection? Havent worked here yet, still studing for my test to get liscensed
