Where does it say a electrical system should have a study done about every 5 years ? I thought I saw someone put that out here...

It is part of NFPA70E-2009. The NEC is mute on this issue.

That was me. 70E requires the study to be updated whenever a modifacation is done to your system, and should be reviewed periodically, not to exceed every 5 years, to account for changes in the system that could effect the arc flash analysis.
