Hi guys,

If any of you could please tell me what you would include in a air handler / heat pump assembly, or any other type of heating assembly used for heating a residence, it would be much appreciated. Currently, the only heating assembly that I have, other than baseboard and wall heaters, is for a standard furnace.

I am the developer of an estimating program called TurboBid. Mike Holt has been kind enough to grant me permission to use his forum to ask for assemblies that I need to add to TurboBid's database. Since I am from the Chicagoland area, I need help in putting together assemblies that other parts of the country use.

I have attached a copy of a typical furnace assembly.

Thank you.

Bill

PS. If any of you would like a copy of the assemblies that I create from this information, please let me know and I will post them.

I'm sorry. I should have been more specific. I have been working with Mike Holt to make TurboBid reflect the contents of his new 2008 estimating book. I am trying to finish a sample estimate in TurboBid that is based on the floor plan sample that is in the book. The plan includes a 60A air handler. Mike lives in Florida so I assume that air handlers are used in that part of the country. In Chicago, we have furnaces for household heating. I am not familiar with air handlers. I just need to find out what items an electrical contractor would use to hook up a 60A air handler. I don't know if a disconnect is included, flex, sealtite, etc. TurboBid uses assemblies so I need to make an assembly that includes all of the items needed to hook up a 60A air handler.

If anyone could help me out, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

Bill
