Is there any requirement in any Code requiring a ground ring at an aircraft hanger. There are plans showing a 4/0 ground ring with 2/0 tails to structural steel. AFIK it's an engineering requirement but Ive been asked if it's in any Code.

That was a common industrial spec, but not in the NEC.

That’s a customer specification. I have never done an aircraft hanger but I have read about that. Also a standard in carrier CO and cellular. Typically connection means is exothermic (Caldweld) I would not deviate from the drawings without getting it in writing from the customer. Are the drawings stamped?
