Is there a minimal height requirement for explosion proof light fixtures inside a paint booth? I have the required (sealed) light fixtures mounted along the walls, but the overall heighth of the ceiling is over 20 feet and not sure if that is an issue of concern where I have to purchase the explosion type fixture . Air intake and filtering is not an issue because it is taken care of. Appreciate a heads up.
 
NFPA 33 Standard for Spray Finishing Using Flammable or Combustible Materials specifies that the entire interior of a spray booth is a Class I Division 1 area. NFPA 410 Standard for Aircraft Maintenance specifies aircraft hanger classification criteria that might be applicable depending on the dimensions of the hanger and aircraft.
