Looking at an airport terminal fit-out and in the spec it says any areas considered NFPA 130 or 502 to have special wiring(LSZH). I’ve lookedup these NFPA sections and they don’t seem to fall into and airport terminal. How would one be sure? Thanks.

NFPA 130

Standard for Fixed Guideway Transit and Passenger Rail Systems

This standard specifies fire protection and life safety requirements for underground, surface, and elevated fixed guideway transit and passenger rail systems.

NFPA 502

Standard for Road Tunnels, Bridges, and Other Limited Access Highways

This standard provides fire protection and fire life safety requirements for limited access highways, road tunnels, bridges, elevated highways, depressed highways, and roadways that are located beneath air-right structures.

Sounds like you need to ask the person who wrote the spec.

I would guess 130 is for your people mover between terminals (if there is or will soon be one), and 502 is for the roadway infrastructure serving any new or renovated terminals and parking garages/areas.

By the way, is this LaGuardia?
