I'm sure this has been asked in other forms of questions. But anyway. To study the code book and take the jtest. Could y'all make a suggestion on how to study the NEC. Cover to Cover or another method. All this is on my own I'm not able to take classes.
Thanks for all suggestions.

after reading on the al state site. it says "non programmable calculator." im assuming this takes out the ElectriCal Pro? so i just need a 10-12 digit simple calculator?

In the state of Mass. you can have as many notes written in your code book as you want. One of my code class teachers says to write in formulas, drawings for transformer connections, and anything else you might want to remember for the test.

after more reading on the info provided by ProV. they state no other info allowed other than what the books allowed provides. i have sent an email to the board asking about the calculator. I know its a silly question and there are bigger things i just dont want a small mistake cost me an exam testing time. i assuming its not allowed and plan on not using it unless my email is replied with approval. since calculations on the test are to prove you know ohms law. so basically answering my own question. so hopefully my next thread will be I PASSED!! but until then IM STUDYING....lol.

I used the 2005 prep courses and made a 92 on my journeyman exam in alabama. I would veiw one video every sunday and then took off the weekend before my test to review. Just be sure when you take your test to read the questions carefully. Hope this helps.
