So EMT aluminum melts much quicker than steel EMT apparently? Makese sense.

Al. EMT melts at approximately 1200 – 1300 degree Fahren, while Steel EMT melts at approximately 2400 degrees Fahren.

Why would that matter? The area of the building with either of those temperatures is pretty much gone. The conductors in the raceways will have the insulation destroyed at a much lower temperature
