Does everything look fine on this Aladdin light lift winch cable? I haven’t done many of these In the instructions it talks about being careful so the cable doesn’t get damaged or become “reverse wrapped” we installed this a couple weeks ago it was a pain in the ass getting it in the attic. Everything works fine and we followed the instruction very carefully.
We also had issues with the hickey or fixture coupler rusting since we installed the lift before drywall was installed and Aladdin recommended replacing the rusted parts but boss man said to clean it off so that’s what we did. It’s funny because nothing else on the lift is rusted just the nipple and hickey. Aladdin says hickey looks good now and in the future install the lift at the last stage of construction which is fine but not always ideal. What do you guys do for new construction lift installs?
