I found a 100amp electric service today with a meter and panel all in one with a removable bond jumper.
I thought all in ones were all suitable only for use as service equipment and had bonded neutrals.
Also the jumper is a #12 conductor.
The supplier tells me it is all factory installed and according to the UL listing.
Does this sound right to any one?

Most of the older equipment has a removable bonding jumper. All of the equipment I have run across the past 20 years has the neutral bolted directly to the can so it can only be used as service equipment. I have never seen any with a #12 jumper. What brand and model number was this?

It is probably pretty rare that one would ever use one of these as non service equipment but not impossible if it can have the bonding jumper removed.

As far as suitability of a 12 AWG bonding jumper - if it has been listed with this jumper it is fine.

I don't know exactly how it compares but many 100 amp panels just use a #10 screw as a bonding jumper.
