OK, I'll answer here as well. You can go a few different routes.
You can take a course and pay for it. I don't have any clue where to find these because I didn't take one, but they have them pretty much all over the state. Ask around and you'll locate something. I highly doubt you will find anything for free or cheap. I'm guessing since you're in New York you're looking for something on the western side of CT, so I can't really help you specifically because I'm familiar with eastern and southern CT.
Or you can buy a few study guide books from Mike Holt and practice the questions and calculations. This is the route that I took. Also, you will need a copy of the business and law book available from PSI for the B&L portion of the E1 exam.
