Alternative to AB 1409 ground fault relay

You can just use a new Solid State OL relay like the E300 and get the exact same GF protection, plus it adds the OL, phase loss, phase reversal, current imbalance, etc etc. I have been just tossing out old heater element OL relays in favor of these for all kinds of reasons, here is another.

The E300 is superfluous for our needs. In addition it would require additional training for our electricians to use/program and require the management of yet another device's program repository. I'm looking for something relatively simple, much like the 1409. If a 1409 fails in the middle of the night I don't want to change it out with an E300, I want to change it out with something similar in form and function.

You can use the E1 as well with an external relay, no configuration or programming to have to deal with,.

You could try the GE/ITI version, the GFM, I used those for years, nothing wrong with them other than finding someone at GE who even knows they exist. You can see it here:
http://www.gegridsolutions.com/app/resources.aspx?prod=tr-pcc&type=4
You order the relay and CT separately. The thing is, the A-B version was 1-6A trip current, the GFM is 2-65A, so if you were using the 1409 at below 2A of GF trip current, the GFM isn't going to give you the same protection.

The only other viable options I know of are Bender, Littelfuse or Startco (oh wait, Startco is now Littelfuse...)
