When aluminum conductors were used in resi. 20a circuits, the main problem with the heat was at the terminations. (i think)
Is there an aproved method of connecting al to cu in device boxes and landing on the devices with copper:? Is this a dumb idea or do people ever do this?:dunce:

This is done and is legal as long as the splice connector is approved for Al-Cu and used according to its instructions and there is enough space in the box.
