I am located in Los Angeles, CA. I believe it is allowed to use 1/2" aluminum Flex as a ground path on circuits 20A and smaller; up to 100ft. Steel Flexible conduit is allowed to be used up to 6ft and 20A circuits and smaller. Can anyone tell me where in the NEC would I find the article that addresses this?
