Aluminum Wire In Branch Circuits In Todays New Construction

Is aluminum wire used today in branch circuits in new construction and is using COPALUM or AlumiConn connectors a proper fix for aluminum to copper connections? Thank you, John L

No specific conductor size. Condominium units with 120V outlets/lighting and 220V for electrical stoves.

For 15 or 20 amp circuits do they actually make solid aluminum cables? For 40 or 50 amp 240 volt circuits aluminum SE cable is often used.

In my field (UK- over 40 years) we rarely used Al conductors. Over that period we couple just two anodiser systems, around 2.0 MW.
