Aluminum Wire

Where does it say aluminum wire is not allowed inside a dwelling? Some AHJ in our area do not allow aluminum on the loadside of the meter base,
but some others do.I've seen installations with Aluminum from the outdoor disconnect all the way into the indoor panel.

The NEC does not prohibit all aluminum wire in dwellings. Service entrance cable is definitely allowed.

We use aluminum exclusively, between the metermain disconnect outside and the panel inside.

I'd ask to see a code reference, it must be a local amendment for the AHJ to require something so conspicuous.
