is there any where in the code that limits or prevents aluminum wiring to used as feeder or branch circuits? or Allows useage?

You can't use aluminum as a GEC where it would come in contact with earth. Aluminum as branch circuit wiring has been out of

favor since the 70's ?? Aluminum is used frequently as service entrance cable and from the meter to weatherhead.

I was looking for NEC Articles for reference. most areas around here only allow Aluminum for services
entrance and not feeders or branch circuits

Ranges-yes 40A or 50A.

Dryers-not so much, actually never in my experience, at 30A.

Same here.

As far as the NEC you can use AL for any size branch circuit or feeder.

However as far as I know nobody is making AL cables smaller than 8 AWG.

547.5(F) requires the use of copper conductors for equipment grounding conductors in locations falling under 547 requirements.
