I was reviewing the calculations section from the Mike Holt Master Exam when I stumbled upon this question.

What is the ampacity of eight current-carrying 10 THHN conductors installed in an ambient tempurature of 100 F?

I found a quick reference chart but it does not have 100 F as one of the selections. Is there a place I can go to calculate the ampacity taking in to consideration ambient temp? I know there is but I cant find it, and Im getting crazy here. Thanks for your help fellers!

Take a look at the 'correction factors' at the bottom of table 310.16, and combine them with the other ampacity adjustments (eg. 310.15(b)(2) specified in 310.15.
