Ampacity table for single 105°C and 125°C insulated conductors in free air?

For 60°C, 75°C and 90°C insulated conductors, there are ampacity tables for those bundled (table 310.16) and individual in free air (table 310.17). But for 105°C and 125°C insulated conductors, there are ampacity tables only for those bundled (table 690.31(A)(b), in photovoltaic systems), not for individual wires in free air. Ampacities in 690.31(A)(b) are greater than in 310.16, and ampacities in 310.17 are greater than 690.31(A)(b), for the same gauge. What if I'll install individual PV wires in cable trays in free air? Can I or must I use 690.31(A)(b) or 310.17, or some other table?
