Good afternoon:
we have a AHU 25 HP 480V 60Hz motor driven by a VFD, presently running at 42Hz. 366V
Question using my fieldpiece 400AAC current head, I test LI,L2,L3 the readings 6.8A,7.0A,6.9A.When I test the motor lead connections, the reading are 95A, 101A, 98A.Question.. Is this due to the voltage difference?.:dunce: Thank You

L1, L2, and L3 are supplying the same load and will be at/near power factor of 1, but at 60 Hz 480 volts.

Still seems to be a pretty high current on the output side though, 25 hp 480 volt motor shouldn't draw much over 30 amps or so at any speed if V/F parameters are set correctly.
