Amprobe AT-720 Review

Has anyone purchased the Amprobe AT-720 wire tracer yet ? Any thoughts on it ? I have other brands and they are not performing as expected I'm curious if this was one really is better.

not pinpointing exact open, breakers and doesn't work well in mc or conduit which is where I need the most. I'd rather not divulge brand but it's a nice one around $800msrp. It could be partially user error but I like to buy new things so i'm trying to talk myself into it.

My circuit tracer is free

When I am alone, I use a 100 foot extension cord with a typical Receptacle checker plugged into the end.
Plug the extension cord into the circuit in question drag the extension cord to the panel and flip breakers to find my circuist. Lighting circuits are not as easy. But a little creativity in pigtails still works the same.

But I have used Amprobe circuit tracers in the past and they did the job great.

Ever try that on a facility with nothing marked, 20+ main panels and 20+ sub panels with 10,000's of feet of conduit underground and a facility around 10 football fields big ?

Will you PM the brand that is not working for you? I am in the market to purchase a circuit tracer. That AT-7020 is $1500.00 and change.
