I am currently downloading data from a logger and after approximately 48 hours, I have only completed about 5% of the download. Do any of you have experience with this? This seems extremely slow to me.

it isn't that much data, digitally.
even with a full memory, i'd think a few minutes would be enough.
most of these things, at the lower levels, aren't really sophisticated
digitally. the fluke i have, which is in the same league, is pretty
limited. using one feels like 1987.

is this thing a 9 pin cable connection? if it is, you might check the
settings for the port.... i'm thinking 8-N-1 at 9600 baud is pretty
much standard. if your computer is set differently, that might explain it.
