An easy one

Low PF in an industrial plant generally is caused by_____.

A. excessive inductive loads

B. excessive resistive loads

C. insufficient inductive loads

D. insufficient resistive loads

I'm thinking A, excessive inductive loads (XL) causes the current to lag the voltage, right? Answer key says C. I think I might be reading somthing wrong. What do ya'll think.

A - agree.

Almost anytime there's coils involved, it's going to to create a lag on the amperage.
