This isn't great advice. I have taken over for customers who thought they could do it themselves. You will be in for a world of hurt, if you have not been previously exposed to it. You really need the software to cruch the numbers. Even when you have the software it isn't just plugging devices and numbers in. It should be an engineer performing the study, and confirming the results the computer computes.

I don't know where Ridgewood is but any of these guys should be able to do it for you and have an on staff PE too.

The right software costs $10k or more, and is nto that easy to use. Doing the calulations without the software for an industrial plant takes months or years.

The best way for facilities to save money is to do the data collection themselves, it is half the work of the project. Just be sure to get data collection forms from the provider and fill them out right the first time, with the people doing the data collection wearing the proper PPE when necessary per the 70E tables.

Thanks to all for the information posted . My company now has a starting point in locating people who perform this type of work.
