A pole light at an apartment building was knocked off the base by a plow, I need to replace it but with a bit of a different style pole.

It's a pretty small 10' light I will be installing, the existing base is about 16" round level to the ground.

What type of anchors should I use?

What do you have to work with? Was it a breakaway pole? Do you have some bolts that you can either put couplings on, bend back straight, or weld to?

The new pole should come with a detail for a base and the connections. Problem will be you can't wet stick the new bolts; assuming existing base is concrete. You may have to have something fabricated where you have new bolts welded to a plate which you weld or couple to existing bolts.

It may be easier & quicker to just install a new base.

My plan was to just cut the existing bolts flush with the top of the base and disregard them. The plan is to anchor the new pole directly to the concrete.

I have used hilti epoxy with threaded rod to place larger poles with no problems. That was 15 or more years ago and they are still standing.

It was a pole manufacturer approved solution.

I've done the same with good results also. One thing I did and maybe it doesn't matter, I used a portable air compressor with a blower nozzle and a long tip to get down to the bottom of the newly bored holes to blow all the concrete dust out.

Titen HD from Simpson. Check the listing on these. I have seen some tests done with these and was VERY impressed.
