I want to add an extra outlet (external) on a circuit and am trying to figure out how many amps its rated for so I use the correct guage wire. Ive identified the breaker but there is no number on the switch. There is a paper label that says: 1 pole unit issue MG-5760 (possibly 5780- tiny print)
HACR Type
CTL type MH/
MM 120/240 VAC
Mount on vertical surface only
60/75 deg C. CU/AL
Torque
14- 20 18 lb/in
8 23 lb/in
6-4. 34 lb/in
Crouse-Hinds Co
If I cant get an answer Ill check the outlet Im tapping off from and use the same guage. I have no idea why its an HACR type breaker for this circuit, many of the breakers in my box match this one.
Thank you for your help!
