How is the Se attached to the rigid? Look like regular clear tie wraps from here. are the UV rated? I thought the black ones where the only ones rated for outdoor use.:-?

Yes, it looks very temporary. I can't see where the old service was located so it must be underground.

The can under the red desk appears to be where the service lateral comes in, and also appears to be where the SEU cable terminates, so it definitely looks like an underground service.

It is a temp setup I just did at the local fire station. The service comes in underground as Pete pointed out.

A new overpriced, oversized, over engineered waste of taxpayer money is going up next to this building.

Looks like something we (I) would do to feed something temporary during a period of construction.

Temp yeah,

Permanent, I hope not LOL, though pretty creative.

Why would a customer pay for this type of installation for a permanent service drop?

Makes me proud to be an American when you put it like that. I especially like the overpriced part.
