Another fundamental grounding/bonding question.

We have a 480V switchgear feeding a MCC (MCB) with a 3/C 500kCMIL plus ground.
The SWGR has a GEC that is routed from the SWGR grd bus to a ground rod/test well just outside the building.
Does the MCC ground bus also need to be bonded directly to a grounding electrode or does the feeder with an EGC from the SWGR ground bus accomplish this?

This feeder doesn't require a direct connection to the GES. As stated the EGC has taken care of the grounding and bonding of the MCC.
