Another Meter Question...Non-contact Phase Rotation

Anyone used one of these, or similar? We looked into one a few years ago, but never got around to it. But lately we have done enough jobs with difficult lugs to latch rotation leads that we are looking into it again. Thanks again.

I am using the Greenlee 5712. It works good and it's pretty nice not having to juggle the three leads.
Only exception is that it sometimes doesn't read if the lugs are to close, like within an inck or so if you can't get it exactly perpendicular.

i bought one of the hioku's a few yrs ago. fits up to 600's. Not fancy but works ok for me, and I like the fact that it's non contact.

I bought that same model a while ago. Like the other guy said its nothing fancy but its great just clipping on the wires. So much safer than trying to have one guy hold the unit and another guy hold the leads on the lugs because they won't clip on anywhere. Probably will never buy "contact-type" ever again.
