Just got back from another walkt hrough on the same job of a differant post. In 3 locations there step down transformers being installed. 480/277 to 120/208 no equipment grounding conductors are being installed from the primary panels. The closest thing they have to an equipment grounding conductor is a 2 inch piece of sealtight with no bonding bushings installed and think this is good enough, "because you can use sealtight for ground" I asked the foreman about running the grounded conductor to that panel and he said he wasn't going to because there was nothing that needed a nuetral in it on the prints.Never mind that in the future there could be. Also the xo is being left unbonded and they are ready to close up and move onto screwing more stuff up. There are so many violations in this place that I am actually just venting. Our local AHJ is getting writing cramps from going through this place. I am going to take some pictures for a how not to do electrical work and would gladly send them to anyone who has the knowledge to post them. Charlie these guys are from your part of Indiana and I wish you would take them back. Am I just being a little to critical or do you other guys jump up and down and scream about grounding also?
