Can someone tell me what the difference is between IEC TCCs and ANSI TCCs? The only thing I can find on the internet is the U.S. generally uses ANSI curves and, I guess, IEC is what the rest of the world uses. I just want to know what makes a IEC very inverse curve different than a ANSI very inverse curve.

Thanks.

ANSI curves typically mimic electro-mechanical relays.

It really makes no difference which curve you use. In the old days each manufacturer had their own custom curves based on the characteristics of their relay, no one matched the theoretical curves exactly.
