I posted a thread concerning antenna grounding on another forum, I found some links on the web including one of Mr Holts. One question that has come up is the antenna ground and bonding it to the service entrance grounding system, this makes sense to me but is there a code requirement for doing this?
Apparently Article 810 makes mention of this particular situation, I do not have a current copy of the code except the copies at work that we sell to contractors, so I cannot in good faith look into it during work hours, with that said, I ask another question, I read that the bonding "jumper" from the antenna ground to the service entrance ground system should be shallow buried, somewhere else I read that may not be the case, the article I read discussed step potential issues concerning a lightning storm, the article stated that teh bonding "jumper" should in fact be buried at the minimum code required 30". Where do I go from here?
