Any advantage to wiring control transformer for gas burner on another circuit?

Rewiring basement of home built in 1925. The control transformer was fed from different circuit than what supplies gas boiler in a steam system. Was considering putting it on same circuit as boiler but wondered if there is any advantage to leaving it as is?

I can think of a major disadvantage of a separate supply, isolation.

I wouldn’t be happy had I turned the supply to the boiler off and then I get a belt off a separate supply.
