trying to set up on a high rise roof bringing power to the roof 277-480 to supply an a/c d/c power supply that powers up an led sign, it is in sections so the power supply has ten 3.1 kw D/C modules that supply each approx. 3ft wide x 30 ft high section do to voltage loss there needs to be 4 pair #8cu S.O. cord to each section, the supply sits about in the center of the 80 ft wide sign.

I am trying to figure a way to eliminate the S.O. cord I dont think it will be code compliant due to the extreme heat (desert area) there are 192 #8 wires total, 24 S.O. cords so I would need some sort of nema 3 rated raceway that would hold 96 wires heading each direction and then be able to mount an S.O cord tail to each section off of the raceway, that would handle the weather. Or is there a rated cover of some sort that would house the cords and protect from harsh weather taking into consideration derating etc; ( confused yet) any Ideas would be appreciated
