Any tricks, tips on adding the 2 gang mudring

And that's exactly what it was. Our "big shop" side just LOOOOOVES to prefab. Then we, who are out in service, get to suffer on the changes.

I put in a 3/4" rise and tighten it right down to the mudring. Hakuna Matata.

Now i see why i use wiremold extension rings on these boxes for modifications.

Never even thought of 314.21 as a violation lol, even when the face plate covers the all the cut out.

Done properly there is NO violation of 314.21.
Cut around the box exactly and there is NO 1/8" gap around the edge of the box.
I angle my saw so the cut out is even with the box edge.
