Anybody familiar with NMPT?

This is Nonmetallic Mechanical Protection Tubing. It is Nylon corrugated conduit/tubing and complies with UL1696. It is made by Flexicon (http://www.flexicon.uk.com/?page=applicationguides.php&type=nonmetallic) (FPAS, FPAL, etc.) and by Thomas & Betts under the trademark Shureflex. It appears similar to ENT, but I cannot find any reference to it in the NEC.

Anybody know what this might be, where it might be used, how it is different from ENT and whether NEC allows it?
 
Since your link appears to be from the UK I would guess that it's used in Europe and not in this country.

I was thinking that it might be a Europe-only product. I am still wondering if anybody has seen or used it, or if anybody might know why it is only approved for use in Europe.
