i have some festoon lighting i need to match, and it's pretty nice LV stuff,
and i haven't used this before... anyone recognize who makes it, and where
it's available?

the lamps are 12v. 4.2w push in peanut lamps....

thanks for any help.... for the people in parts of the country where you
are trying to burn enough fuel to keep from freezing, please disregard the
palm trees swaying gently in the onshore breeze..... it's 73 here today,
and if it makes you feel better, we could have a devastating earthquake
any minute now.....:D

Is that possibly a name I see on the flat piece of plastic with the 4 screws? I can only see a T as the first letter and an R at the end.

yeah, i just didn't want to take it apart while swaying gently in the breeze
with the palm trees, but i ended up at hank's electric, with color glossy
photos, with circles, arrows, and a paragraph on the back..... and one
of the counter guys glanced at it from 4' away, and said "Tokistar"...

he was right... i've never even heard of it before... turns out, it's made
in anaheim, calif. got a request for quote in now.... nice stuff, cannot
be cheap.... we'll see what 100' costs..... you can get it with
xenon lamps, or led's.... be still my heart... i can only imagine the price
with led's....

thanks for the help... i appreciate it.

You're right, it's not cheap but it is GREAT stuff... good enough to be worth shipping it half-way round the globe :)

Darnit! I thought it was tivoli, and when i was pulling up the datasheet I remembered another company that makes stuff like tivoli and I couldnt remember the name. It was tokistar. I would be curious to see the two side by side. Probably from the same factory in china.
