Customer wants me to install a 2000 amp outdoor service disconnect that will feed a seperate new pole barn w/ a 100 amp service and an existing service to the house via the 200 amp feed. So what I need is a part or model number of a commonly used panel service (i.e. CH or Square D, ect.) product that has space for or comes with a 200AMP breaker and "feed through lugs" so that I can supply the new service panel to the pole barn with 100A (i will have to buy seperately) and then feed directly though the outdoor disconnect into the house service panel via the "feed through lugs" ?

If you can visualize the outside of the disconnect box --- it will have one seu going into it from the meter socket, one seu going out to the house to feed the existing panel service and one urd/conduit going out and underground to the new 100Amp service to be in the pole barn . Your help is sincerely appreciated ? JIM

I am assuming you meant 200A outdoor disconnect
Midwest also makes one a U281C1 or if you want one with a meterbase built in a R281CB-LK

Are you are wanting to run 2 100 amp panels out of a 200 amp disconnect with double lugs on the bottom of the main? If so, your 100 amp wire feeding the panels would be protected at 200 amps, you need a 200 amp weather proof panel with 2 100 amp breakers to land your feeds.

Cutler Hammer
CMBE88B200BTF (or BTS if you want a surface mount)

Overhead or underground feed. It is a ring style all-in-one with a 200 amp main with feed through lugs, and 8 positions. It is what I will have on my house, sub for the house fed off the lugs on the bus, sub for the garage fed from a breaker off the bus. The lugs on the bus are good for #4-300. Should be able to get one for about $200

Any supply house is going to have what you want. It is a 200 amp meter base combo, feed through wiith spaces for more breakers. All brands make them.
You will have to run a 4 wire to the existing panel and isolate your neutral from the grounding conductor. You may have to install a ground bar in the existing panel. Use #2 al. direct burial cable to the barn.
Use all dust proof equipment in the barn.

Actually, a lot less than $147.19:

The problem as I read your question is that you are building a 200 A service and feeding a 100A Pole barn. That does not equal a feed thru bus as the feeder would have to be rated for 200A. Don't attach to the lugs and put in a 100A Breaker into this panel for you to be able to use 100A Feeder.

Or maybe I just mis read the question.

Rick

OK I did misread... Feeding the house via feed thru.. Seimens, Sq D, GE, Midwest they all make what you are looking for. We call them Trailer disconnects around here.
