I'm doing what I suppose you could call an apprenticeship for a family friend. I don't know what field I want to work in so I wouldn't say I'm particularly versed in anything building/electrical yet. My dad however believes this means I can do anything and everything for him (without pay is his motive I'm sure). He has got a new cottage down south that he wants to renovate, and took me there to help him start tidying and preparing for workers. He's got it in his head that I should be able to knock down this huge , I wanna say Victorian?, chimney fireplace so that I, or his friends, can wire up some stuff in the future. I have no idea what the structural integrity of this thing is so I didn't want to risk working on it when i was there. Il be sure to get a picture of it next time i go to visit but does anyone have any suggestions?
