Anything wrong here

I cannot post a picture from my files. What is wrong?

It may be too large to import and attach.
Can you put it on a photo sharing site that does not require a login and put a link in your text?

Or you can try reducing the resolution (and therefore the file size) of the image.

Hi GoldDigger, long time not here, forgot how to do that ... Getting to old, how I do that?

To resize you need a basic photo editing app. There are a variety of free ones depending on what your operating system is.

To post on a sharing site, find one you like. Photo-Bucket seems to be popular among members.

Get a free account at photobucket or shutterfly and upload your pics there. Then right click and copy the image address and paste it the box that appears when you use the insert image icon

Alternatively you can open the image on your screen and take a snip or screen shot of the image, save that, then upload it.

A host site for your image still works the best. No need to worry about having too large of a file or how much data the forum may limit you to for all the images you have uploaded to it. As long as your image remains on the host site it will appear where you put the link for it in your posts - and the image appears full sized "in the post" and not as an attachment that readers need to click on to enlarge.

How do I add an image to a post?

If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed.

To include an image that is not uploaded as an attachment and is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing
after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image. You can insert photos from your albums (?) in this way too.
