It is hillarious. I hope Erick Stromer has a good insurance company. They had him show how to use a studfinder and the studs edge is where he showed to sink the lags in the studs. See for yourself http://diy.aol.com/home-improvement/how-to-hang-plasma-tv/step-by-step-gallery They should have homeowners droping them off the livingroom wall in notime. I love it. Oh btw they forgot to mention that the cables will all be exposed using thier method.

I am editing this to say that the slide show is diferent from ythe video clip i was laughing about I will try to post annother link. k here it is http://diy.aol.com/home-improvement/home-improvement-with-eric-stromer?video=17 notice they dont adress mounting height and notice there are no wires showing until the last clip where you can see the wiremold which he forgot to show you on the install. Someone just shoot me I cant take this crap.

Just look at this sort of stuff as job security.

I had a splice a water heater in a brand new house the other day when the guy was doing a DIY garage organizer installation. His stud finder showed "AC" on the screen, and he thought that was the stud.

I need a straight jacket right now

As plasma prices are droping they are certainly not for a diy to hang. Go Giants!!

In the video they showed him hanging on the bracket from the wall. Must be mounted pretty good.

That wiremold they used was fuuuuuuuuuuugly. I bet it would have taken less time to fish the wires up the wall than to make that monstrosity and then paint it to "match" the wall.
