Apartment Building Back-up Generator w Fire Pump

Hi All... my supervisor asked to find design standards for sizing a new natural gas back-up generator and adding fire pump.

There is about 20-25kW of lighting, fire alarm panel and security system on the existing 30kW diesel generator

There is a new 50hp fire pump going into the building; current 10hp is undersized and not on emergency power.

I know the CAT have a design tool but I can't find any design guides for nat gas??

Be sure the electric code will allow for natural gas to be the fuel source. 700.12(B)(2) seems to say no, but maybe your local code amends the national.
