I have a nine flat complex(small units) and the customer wants separate meters for each unit plus a house panel. Should I install a 600 amp outdoor disco with a riser to the POCO and feed the dual 5 gang sockets from the disconnect. Do I need metering on the 600 amp disco?

I typically call for SquareD gang metering with integral main so the unit breakers are UL series rated with the main. Installation is straight forward. No need for metering on the main. Check with the power company on who brings the service conductors to the main. Can go either way.
