Feel somewhat un educated posting this but my experience has been heavy industrial and single family homes. That being said I have a load calculation question on a 6 unit apartment building.
Specs are as follows 6 units 900sq ft each. Kitchen with gas range. fixed in place appliances are dishwasher and microwave. There is a gas furnace in each unit, there is no air conditioning. 2 bedroom 1 bath. The laundry is in the unfinished basement.
Any ideas on approximate feeder size and amperage for the entire apartment complex..im not looking for someone to do the work for me but the number I cam up with seems very low.

2700va gen light..3000 small app..1500 microwave with 35% after first 3000 I came up with 4,470va per unit works out to 18.625 amps

Entire building load without house power worked out to 71.125 amps.
Do these numbers sound reasonable?
This is my first time doing a multifamily load calc other than on my test. I used annex d Example D4(a) Multifamily dwelling.

Thanks
for all the help

I don't see any values factored in for the dishwasher or for the gas furnace. I come up with approx. 131A figuring 800Va for the dishwasher and 1200VA for the furnace.

In addition to the dw and furnace, where's the laundry load?

Is hot water gas also?

Fixed-in-place microwave?

If the basement is a common area for all the apts then it is not in the calc. for each dwelling but it certainly would be added in for the load of the entire service

Did not check your math, but with no AC, no electric range, clothes dryer, or water heater, gas heat, and only 900 square feet, you won't have much load per unit.

I'd figure there is a good chance there may be window AC's installed by occupants at times, owner is just too cheap to provide any AC.;)
