Apartment panel location

The prints show the panel mounted behind the front door. I've checked the code and can't find anything. It seems to be a safety issue. Suppose your working on the panel and someone opens the door. Thanks.

A rubber handled screw drive makes an excellent door stop if you can't lock the door as was suggested.

That aside behind the door is perfect in a apartment because no furniture will ever be put there.

Just like behind the door should be a required location for a receptacle outlet.

I like the "behind the door" location and use it often in my designs, for this very reason.
