Does anyone have a source for apc equipment? I need to get specs and pricing on 2 40kw ups and 2 40 kw pdu's.
I have a data center project that is slowly turning into a design build......

For the UPS, you might try Riello.
As it happens I got a competitive price from them yesterday for a 60 kVA unit.

At one point everyone and anyone could be an APC vendor just by going to their site. Now with the merger with MGE that may have changed. Check with your local APC/MGE UPS rep.

To avoid confusion when talking with the APC vendor, most of the world calls a PDU to represent a distribution panel, maybe a transformer and maybe a static switch. APC generally calls a power strip a PDU (a nice one by the way).

What exactly happened with that merger? I bought some MGE Pulsar 3kVA units from my local Schneider distributor and the quote said MGE part #XXXXX, Eaton Corp. Apparently Eaton owns a piece of MGE? The supply house didn't have a good answer on what happened to the company.

APC is now the big units of MGE and everthing from APC.

The small UPS devices from MGE were sold to Eaton.
